Default Big piece after 6...

Its a section of the 5-7 show on Classic FM...and I thought you were all ladies and gents...*sigh...

Anyhow, its Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue, in its entirety. And bloomin' great as far as I'm concerned, but I do realize other opinions are available.

Always makes me think of a worldly wise cat out and about on his nightly adventures.

Can you really, Ange - I'm very, very impressed!

Beautiful piece of music - my sister can play the introduction, but she claims that after that there are just 'too many notes' for one person with small hands!

Phooey! Too many notes indeed!! There are as many notes as are necessary!

There are a lot of notes for little hands (I have the hands of a 10 yr old, sadly the face and body looks considerably older ) but once you learn the knack it's a lot easier. Plus the pianist takes a lot of the strain quite early on.

Just seen this I am also in awe of you playing the clarinet.....I remember very little of school but I do remember the music teacher bringing in her Clarinet and none of us could get a note out of it
