I just bought 'Scarpetta' by Patricia Cornwell

I used to read this series of books avidly, buying them the day they came out and finishing them that evening...

Anyone read this one?

Used to love her but she went a bit strange in her writing. I lost the plot when Kay Scarpetta had an affair with her best friends hubby most out of character used to love that she had such respect for the dead............

finished it last week. better than the last few she has written, much more like her old style of books.

I've finished it - it's been a long time since I've finished a book in 24 hours...

I really enjoyed it, very much like her older style books .

It's in paperback here - that's unusual for us to be first at something like that!!
