Going back a lot further I would love to have a peep at some of the childrens programmes I used to watch. Pogles Wood, Sarah Hoppety and the Wooden Tops.

Laverne and Shirly were brilliant, I used to skip piano lessons to watch it at a friends house.

Flambards http://flambards.flyingdreams.org/ from 1979, about Christina (another one!) the house Flambards and early flying. Also from about that time the BBC series Wings about WW1 fighter aces.

I'm not interested in the flying bit, but I did so love their Edwardian/WW1 settings.

I forgot Testament of Youth - based the autobiography of Vera Brittain (played by Cheryl Campbell) which was shown about that time as well and completes my triology of WW1 dramas. Brilliant!

One of my guiltiest pleasures was 'Dallas' - I absolutely adored it - and I also loved some of the old sitcoms like 'Hi-de-hi!' and 'Are you being served?'! :D

Does anyone remember the Herbs with Parsley the lion. I love Pogles wood too.
Oh yeh, Rent a Ghost also used to be on when I got home from school, it was a bit odd but I loved it.

Remember Saturday nights used to be either the Dukes of Hazzard or The Incredible Hulk or Wonderwoman!:clapper:

Knotts Landing!!! That was the Desperate Housewives of its time. Nicolette Sheridan (Ede) was in that too, she doesnt look any older now.
Going back when I was really young my sister & I used to come home for lunch in infants & watch Pipkins. Anyone admit to remembering Octavia, Hartley Hare, Topoff & tortoise? :eeeek:
