Does anyone know if the FB Viking Cat Club show is going ahead on the 5th July in the Manchester area ? I fancy trying an FB show :catcheshire:

Its listed on http://www.felisbritannica.co.uk/uk_cat_shows.htm but says TBA. I've emailed Mel Gardner & left a message for her but just wondered if anyone else knew.

Also, if I am a full member of one of the FB clubs is that all I need to enter or do I also need to register my cat ? Not sure if you lose out on any claims etc by not registering your cat ?

have you done a FB show before? If not you don't need to reg with them yet as you get a "free go". TBA normally means they just haven't published the schedules yet and will do nearer the time. You could always check with the SM or club direct if your worried :)

No, I haven't done one before, I've been as a visitor but not exhibiting. I'm a member of an FB Club, the Aristocats one, but that's it.
The Show Manager is Melanie as well :catdoh:

You can do as many shows as you like without him/her being registered. If you are a member of an FB club, your cat doesn't need to be FB registered in order to qualify for the FB Winners show. Your cat does need to be FB registered to participate in the Annual Points Awards. Not 100% sure about titles - will check.

I think your cat needs to be registered to go for titles CAP but if you qualify for the winners show you can register after the fact, as Maggis says you can go to as many you like they have an "open door policy"

Hoping the 5th July will be at Leigh

PS they don't have shaded's I would imagine a certain young man would be a mackerel tabby
