I have been checking it out on the MSN story lines.
That was such an amazing story. Must have been difficult(although the right thing) to let him go back into the wild. Can't really watch these things though, they just make me cry

Loved this programme..........amazing , sad , funny such love on both sides but a happy ending for him.It was best for him to be returned to the wild..............it would of broken my heart to part with him after having that bond..............but good for them for realsing it wasnt right for him to be a pet.

Just incredible that after 5 generations of captivity he was able to integrate back into the wild.

Thank you so much for posting about this Paul otherwise I probably would have missed it!

I couldn’t believe it.. Truly amazing story and all that footage! Phenomenal!
What I loved was the way he displayed totally “kitty” like tendencies like ours all have, sitting on them when they were on the phone and having to be with them etc.. he was just stunning ..
What makes it so special is that he must have been a truly amazing Lion to be able to have coped with all of those situations and not once get fazed.

I SO can’t wait to go on safari now.. I’ll be calling for Christian all the way round ;)

It was lovely, and I do hope he survived out in the wild. I guess today they'd put a tracking device on him. Shame they didn't exist then.

I loved it! fantastic story and what a beautiful lion he was, especially liked the way he ran up to them and put his paws around them just like a proper hug, cried my eyes out at the end though!

An incredible story, and wonderful ending! I couldn't believe it when Chrstian and the other male lion (Boy?) became best of friends.

And can you imagine the size the litter tray must have been in their flat!!
