I nearly had a heart attack whilst watching this evening's episode! Talk about tense!!!

Alice won the quarter mil'!! She dealt at £17.5k with 8 boxes left (4 blue & 4 red), then played on & knocked out most of the blues.

Banker said he would have offered £30k plus a load of goodies. She was gutted! Then she played on & the last 2 boxes were £250k & 1p. Banker offered her the Banker's Gamble & Swap.

She took ages over the decision - you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife! She took the Gamble & decided not to swap, & the rest is history........

The girl dealt at £17,500

But when it got to the final two boxes it was 1p and £250,000 so the banker offered her a deal to go back into the game which she did.

Cue lots of tenseness and decision making (i nearly had the baby early through nerves).

anyway she stuck with her box and it contained £250,000!!!!!!! I burst into tears (bloody hormones!).

It was a bloody good episode though, wasn't it?!

Certainly was! It's one of those programmes that's a bit like marmite - you either love it or hate it! My other half used to scorn me when I watched it, saying it was all a fix, no skill involved, the banker's not real etc, etc. But even he kept popping back in to the lounge to see how Alice was getting on LOL!

The banker is real!! I've heard him doing an evil laugh when Noel has put the telephone receiver up to his mic! :lol:
