It does look really funny, but I have the book which I really enjoyed even though I cried my eyes out a couple of times - I'd rather not cry in public as I look very scary:trueconfirmed:

the book has a couple of really sad parts, especially at the end - I was all red and snuffly when I finished reading it
Mind you I also cried when I read the 7th Harry Potter book and can't watch any dogs trust adverts for the same reason

I know but don't tell anyone I work with, it's taken me years to convince them I am scary

Lee & I decided to watch this today. What a fab film, but I cried my eyes out, real big sobs.

I still haven't seen it! I must buy it on DVD!! :)
I watched this on the night flight plane back from South Africa and was in floods of tears! But trying to keep quiet J
The poor woman the other side of me didn’t know what to do..
It is SOOOOOOOOOOO sad if you’ve had pets to an old age.
Definitely not one to see in public!

I know what you mean Jeni, I was going to see it at the cinema with my niece and am soooo glad I didn't. I was really sobbing, even Lee cried, he said it was just like when we had our beloved Kushka pts last year.

I read the book and loved it, but really couldn't cope with seeing the film in public - loss of an aged pet plus miscarriage - I'd end up being sectioned for uncontrollable sobbing
