Just watched and I thought I saw Sue and Rameses. Wasn't sure, but now you've comfirmed it. I couldn't believe how well all those 83 cats were kept. I was expecting it to be a hovel, but she was pretty clean really.

I loved the Sphynxes!!!!!! think 83 cats is being a bit too much of a crazy cat lady, but I loved the way they went walking with her... nice to know we are not the only people who relish the company of our feline companions and appreciate our cats for who they are

I was amazed that 83 cats seemed to get on so very well together - at least while they were being filmed!! Felt really sorry for poor Mr Darcey!

Stupid, stupid SKY. I set the box to record, which it did but the signal was so bad for most of tonight that there was no sound and the picture kept freezing gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
I'm sure I saw Carolmanycats 'Jack' at the FB show.
I did feel sorry for Mr Darcy I'm surprised he could breath with all that powder.

Gaaarggh! I didn't see Sue - I'm so dumb I didn't realise that the cat I cried out 'Oh, that one looks like Rameses!" on seeing actually was Rameses! ::oops:
I liked the woman with the 83 cats very much and the sight of her out for a walk with them was amazing, but I felt it wasn't at all amazing that poor Mr Darcey freaked out after having been groomed for six hours the night before his show! :(

I think the saddest part was the pitiful noise he made as he became upset in the show hall.... I think we must have been eating bacon rolls when that all happened Sue!
I also am amazed you looked so well Sue - considering the amount you had drunk the night before

I felt sorry for Mr Darcy too, I thought his owner seemed a bit highly strung and it wound him up too.
Glad she made the decision he wouldn't go to show again, better from him.

I couldn't believe all those Bengals/Bengal types either and how well they got on - now Roy wants to live in Wales with a herd of happy Bengals following his every move ....
I didn't record it - well I recorded something on another channel instead by mistake, I've never got the hang of this DVD recorder so will have to fathom out the watch again thing on Channel 4.

Have to say, the programme was really good but I also found it really sad when I heard Mr Darcy. He sounded like a baby crying, poor baby. It was sad

I keep thinking how good all those cats were together. I've only got two but Hetty will have a go at Max :( is there a point when you have so many cats all together that they stop fighting? I'm thinking also of that Russian woman with 100 cats in her flat ... do you think once you get 50 plus they all start to behave?????????

Thanks for the link Sue, I've just watched it with my baby bear on my lap validating my entry into the mad cat lady club
I thought it was a positive programme. I think the woman with 83 cats has maybe gone a bit far but the cats all looked happy, healthy and unquestionably loved. I especially loved the old doddery BSH (?) following behind on the walk
Didn't like poor old Mr Darcy at the show, that's always my fear if i took a cat and they were unhappy, i think i would have skipped the judging and just taken him home. But although the woman was very competitive at the end of the day she does love him.

I watched it yesterday and spotted Sue and Ramases... in fact I'm sure I saw Ramases again a bit later on too? Ste was laughing at me as I kept rewinding and pointing to the tv saying "look! look... that's Sue and Ramases!!!"

Lovely programme. I am glad I have a Siamese who requires minimal preparation for a show. All that preening is bound to have upset poor Darcy.

I think she was trying to cover up any tear staining he my have had, maybe using Eye Envy or something like that, I believe people who show pale coloured cats and dogs use it when showing.

I use eye envy but it takes 30 seconds to clean his eyes if that - eye envy on cotton pad and wipe!
I think some chinnie breeders/exhibitors do use make up to enhance the eye area .................
it does take time to prepare a persian properly but she did seem to go overboard!
