imo, he's missing a load of bolts.
I don't care for him at all.

Indeed, the man as made a fortune out of people wanting their 5 minutes of fame...And although I too don't like his show,as a person he seems ok.

I also watched the programme 'Who Do You Think You Are'...and I must admit I found myself crying at the injustice of war and what the Nazi's did to the Jewish community.

He had no clues as to what happend to his Maternal and Paternal Great Grandparents, and indeed this programme Nance takes it's subjects back to the places of origin to look in the archives and find out their lineage.

Both sets of G Parents were found to be exterminated in the attrocious death camps, and he was shown what one of his Grandmothers had with her in regards to all her worldly effects at the very time she had to give them over to the Germans as she walked through into the gas 'bus' and die.One particular item I found very moving was the item '1 straw hat'...plus a few other effects like '1 pair of stockings'...

I found the programme very very moving, especially as at the end he was walking along the river bank with a gentleman who helped with some research, out of the blue he said that he would like to introduce him to someone....The someone turned out to be a cousin he never knew existed who lives in Israel with a large family of his own.

And while the programme was very moving and extremely touching...It was one of the best ones I've watched.

I really felt for him, it is inconviecable (sp) the suffering the occurred.... especially more so as it is recent history...

I have gone off the Germans all over again :(

The amazing thing about the Nazis is how well documented the whole procedure was - why did they bother?

either to make sure every Jew was exterminated, or they really were just that inane!!!!

Like many others, I've always had an extremely low opinion of Jerry Springer, but kinds of got sucked into the programme last night and thought it was very well done :) Part of my degree and Masters were in German and German history, and I've spent a lot of time living / working in the country. I really thought I knew most of what there was to know about the Holocaust, but this really brought it alive :(

Fascinating and sad.
