I was listening to the radio and they were saying who is rumoured to have signed up but I cant for the life of me remember who they are
I was pleased with one or 2 I remember and then thought "nooooo" with some others..
Anyone heard anything about which stars/dancers are on this year?

I'd heard Sharon Osbourne was doing it - that's why she isn't a judge on the X factor this year...............????
She decided it wouldn't look 'right' doing it this yr and is pencilled in for 2009
Fitting in a yrs worth of lessons first maybe?

Follow the link for pics of this year's 'cupples' - looks like there'll be a lot to get our teeth into this time around - John Sergeant looks like a garden gnome, Gnasher Hardy is still in it, Jessie Wallace looks a right old slapper - and the swimmer bloke is simply frightening! :D

Matthew and Anton are in it after all! Oooh!
See they've done their best to stop Flavia from running off with her pertner this yr :angelic

And the lovely Ian, too!:catlove:
Howling with laughter at the Flavia comment - you're a hoot, Leah! :D
I hope little Vinthent had a good laugh too when he saw what she'd 'pulled' for this year!:catcheshire:

John Sergeant's going to look like a dancing Toby-jug - still - who cares - he's been stiffed with one of the new dancers who nobody will like much because there's a lot of bad feeling in the dance world about Nicole Cutler being dropped for no good reasons.
I don't know - I was a bit disappointed that none of the so-called celebrities struck me as special in any way, mind you, it was always going to be difficult to top last year's show.
I still think that swimmer bloke is on the hidjus side of frightening! :eeeeek:
I don't like his enormous moobs :cattongue:
I think Jessie Wallace is going to be entertainment.... she's trying so hard to be casual and likeable.... but she wants it ssss0000000000 bad!

Just wrote this for 'The Blue Room' - anyone mind if I share it here?
"Well, I've never heard of half of the so-called celebrities, and none of them made me think 'Ooh', but time will tell - there certainly seems to be the promise of plenty of laughs!
Lisa Snowdon and Brendan Cole:- never heard of her - she's not as gorgeous as she thinks she is. Brendan's a fool. Next!
Austen Healey and Erin Boag:- Erin looks about ten years younger with lighter hair. I like her, so I was disappointed to see she'd got this year's garden gnome - she'll never make a silk purse out of him!
John Sergeant and Kristina Rhinoff:- Yes, well - at first glance I thought she was a female impersonator - I don't like new professionals, but I was quite impressed that she didn't fall into strong hysterics when she found out she'd be dancing with a Toby-jug!
Gary the Chef and Gnasher Hardy: Hell's bells! She seems to have squeezed even more teeth into that mouth! I've seen old Gary on some reality cooking programme and he's a hot-tempered critter - I'm already hoping she might nag him into losing it and looking forward to watching him go after Gnasher armed with a couple of skewers, some flat-leaved parsley and a few sun-dried tomatoes!http://www.theblueroom.me.uk/forum/smileys/smiley3.gif
Don Warrington and Lilia Kopylova:- I love lickle Lilia, despite the hubba adoring her for all the wrong reasons - I also think Warrington's a hoot - I don't think they'll last long, but I shall be sorry to see them go!
Cheri Lunghi and James Jordan:- I love the Werewolf - he has the eyes and the haughty facial expressions of a very bad boy indeed - Brendan take note - Cheri, don't be fooled by the 'gentlemanly' act!
Andrew Castle and Ooh-la-la Jordan:- poor lass, gorgeous and stiffed with the world's most boring tennis commentator (apart from Little Timmy Henman)- never mind, she gets to go home with the Werewolf!http://www.theblueroom.me.uk/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif
Sergeant Gillian Taylforth and Anton Du Beke: I used to always stick up for him, but he infuriated me over the summer with 'fattist' remarks - so now the gloves are off! A pity - I don't mind her!
Jodie Kidd and Ian Waite: Dear me! Another Amazon for My Original Beloved - he's going to have his work cut out hauling her around!
Mark Foster and Hayley Holt:- Who? Oh, I think I was so frightened I blotted him out of my mind - I think his first week dance should be to the music from 'Jaws'!:eeeeek:
Tom Chambers and Camilla Dallerup: Never heard of him - can't stand Skeletor - so if the *Curse of Aida works as it usually does, they'll win!
Christine Bleakley and Matthew Cutler:- Well, after last year, nobody would have been good enough for My New Beloved, and this one certainly isn't - who is she anyway?
Heather Small and Brian Fortuna: Why couldn't poor Heather have had a real partner rather than this CGI one?
Phil Daniels and Flavia:- Howled with laughter when I saw him - at least SCD are trying to make sure she doesn't run off with this year's partner! Talk about 'just deserts'!http://www.theblueroom.me.uk/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif
Vincent Simone and Rachel Stevens:- I love Vinthent! Annoyingly, Rachel's name doesn't contain an 's' which will inhibit pothting in Vinthent-thpeak thith year, but I'm thure we'll get around it. On the down side, I don't know if I can truly let myself go and support a woman who inflicted 'S-Club Seven' on an innocent world!
Jessie Wallace and Darren Bennett:- Hmmmm - Darren's a bit dainty to be dragging her around, poor little soul - and why's she dressed like a 'flapper'?
Having said all that - I'm still looking forward to next week! http://www.theblueroom.me.uk/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif"
Acknowledgments to Leah who made the original crack about Flavia's partner - it was soooooo good, I had to 'borrow' it! :D
* My screen-name is 'Aida' on 'The Blue Room' forum

 Excellent!!
I reckon Gary has a nasty temper and he is used to being treated as if he walks on water..... I 'm hoping for tantrums and tiaras! :girldevil:
Is Jessie Wallace actually in Chicago or is she treating the whole thing as some kind of open Audition? :-s Has she been in it?

Howling with laughter - you're such a hoot, Leah - I never thought of that, but now that you've flagged it, it's perfect! :jerk:

Mark Foster really does look exactly like a fish out of water.
I though Gillian Taylforth was going to sexually assault Anton the Berk ...... :eeeek:

Soooo looking forward to the new series. Mind you I think it's going to be hard to top last year.
