- saw first part other night on BBC two nine pm wednesday - apart from they used the theme from the film the Godfather which didnt work - the characters werent fully explained so bitty messy mixed up - the man playing saddam did look the part though - might watch part two to see if the plot improves... ps the tv news inserts didnt work well either sort of spoiled things!

I avoided it - I'm not sure I'm ready for a dramatisation about Saddam yet :(

That's exactly how I feel. So many people died.

Me too - as Carole wrote, some things are just too recent to be dramatised.

think thats the feeeling that I had watching first episode - tv producers dont think like that though if its for the tv ratings - it was rubbish and too too recent!

I couldnt bring myself to watch it - had it been a documentary, I might have done, but not a drama...

I watched it on 'catch up' last night in bed...I avoided the first episode last week, but I pressed the wrong programme and I didn't have my glasses on...and it was dark.So I reluctantly watched it.

It's like anything to do with Tyrants and Despots...Upsetting.

I've only seen the trails, but I'm baffled as to why all of the women sound like Louis Armstrong when they talk:catwink:!
