Hello everyone

I'm not a Siamese owner at the moment although my elderly moggie is a partbred Siamese. I also have two Selkirk Rex show neuters at the moment and hope to add more show neuters (hopefully an Oriental) later this year!

So hoping to learn more about them I've joined up to absorb all the useful stuff on this site! catexcited

Thanks for the welcome! Selkirks are not very similar to Siamese so will be an oddity I guess :catlaughing: I did look at a Devon as I love their "pixie look" and coats before I got my second Selkirk but they are so full of mischief and into everything I thought my old girl might not tolerate it - Selkirks are a bit more chilled and submissive.

Hopefully these should be some piccies of the boys at a show yesteday done in an "arty" style by my friend - only headshots though so you can't see the curls in their full glory!

No - the red smoke kitten is an Amazolou cat - his bloodlines are very classic with an imported German father with lots of Persian influence in there and his mother is directly descended from the first Austrian Selkirks to come to this country in 2002 :catwink:

and the black boy is a Catbalu Selkirk - his father is the first American Selkirk to be imported here and his mother is Pridykats British Shorthair!

So they have very different pedigrees!

I fell in love when I rehomed the black lad from a friend and just had to get myself another!

Will try and post some pics of my half Siamese lady when I get some where she is looking pretty.
