I watched this last night and bawled my eyes out!

I never normally watch foreign subtitled films but my hubby was watching and I couldn't help getting drawn in.

A beautiful film....I would recommend it to anyone!

It's a story set in Spain in 1944.

A young girl who's mother has remarried discovers a magical labyrinth next to the family home. The film captures the feeling of post civil war Spain and the girls unhappiness with her life which is why she seeks escapism in the magical world.

There is more information about the film here.

I watched it last night for the fourth time and cried like a baby.

Its that bit where the woman is humming the lullaby as she lies there dying. It makes me sob so much.

Both me and my hubby were blubbering at that part!

We went out today and bought it on DVD!
