Well, ofcom are investigating the X Factor !! Surely though, if Rydians fans could not get through, would it not be the same for Leons?
I am sure we will find out.... seems Rhydian has gone very very quiet! Have we heard the end of this? :santafat1:

Same old thing, there are bunches of people in every walk of life that are professional 'complainers' - they often have little else to do and like the sound of their own voices....

I thought Rhydian reacted like a eral gentleman. He must have been completely gutted but he genuinely looked pleased for Leon.

He seems a very genuine person, and I don't think any of this is his doing. He will have a great career ahead,, without the X Factor, and I wish him well with it.

I don't think the winners get that good a deal, they are locked into rapacious contracts with Simon Cowell, Rhydian will probably get to take his time and decide which offer he prefers.

I agree Leah - I think Rhydian is less "poppy" and perhaps long-term has less mass market appeal, so he may be better doing his own thing and not being locked into plastic pop songs that don't necessarily suit his voice (which I thought was amazing :) )

I read somewhere yesterday that Lloyd Webber is interested in having him star in a musical - I think that would really suit his voice.

I hardly saw anything apart from the final - my sis was glued to it, supporting Rhydian and gave me chapter and verse on the whole series !! She seemed to think he must have been told to tone down his attitude to get votes ?

She made me vote for him - twice :roll: and I had no problem getting through.

I barely watched any of it, but when i did see it, there was something about Rhydian i just didnt like. Maybe it was the arrogance at the start that put me off.

In all honesty though, although Rhydians voice wasnt to my taste, he does have a damn good voice. Hopefully he'll do well and be able to sing songs much better suited to him
