Nigella Express Book

I'm not fond of watching this as she plays to the camera but I did buy the book half price. The recipes are great especially the Baileys Tiramisu. Has anyone else bought this ?

I usually love the progs but she is grating on me with this one, that grin is stretched so maniacally wide it's quite disturbing! Her books are good but not always easy to follow, I lost interest in 'How to Eat' because of the lack of pics, I need some idea of what i'm working towards! ALso in one she has a lovely recipe for chicken and bacon pies that calls for Marsala [which I love so I knew what she meant] but she never specified marsala wine and I only just stopped my friend from stirring in a load of curry paste :nocomment:

Just been reading the BEST looking chocolate cake recipe from Tamasin, think I'll give that a go, got Expresso and loads of dark choc and ground almonds instead of flour to make it really chewy and fudgy, mmmmmm

not seen the book, but the series is getting better, like the way she tries to make cookery easier and finds fast methods with fresh foods...

Helen, I totally have to agree with you here, my other half is OBSESSED with Nigella!! :lol: He loves watching her in action and said she is really seductive and gestures a lot during the programme!! :lol: Typical bloke eh?!! :lol: I might have to buy him the book for Christmas and get him to make me the Bailey's Tiramasu!! :lol:
