Anything with zombies. My cousin smuggled the Romero trilogy into the house when we were kids, and played them to all us little cousins [well I was prob 14 or 15] and after that I can't even watch them in spoofs!

I never watch horror films - the ending of 'Don't Look Now' really made me jump the first time I saw it - when Donald Sutherland follows that small figure in the red coat through a deserted wintry Venice :eeeeek:

Horror films don't normally scare me but I must admit that the Exorcist did put a bit of a shiver up my spine! :)

The Grudge, it was the noise and the bit with the duvet that did it for me. Generally i love horror films but that one just freaked me out

When I was a small child, my Nana let me watch 'Curse of the Werewolf' on telly with her - it left deep psychological scars - ever since then I have had a positive horror of werewolves, even though (when it's nice and bright and sunny and, mostly importantly, daytime) I know there aren't any!

Lucia when I was 9 I went to my school fair, and found nestled amongst the Bunties and Jinties a paperback collection of the most graphically gorey werewolf stories ever.....And YES they sold it to me, and I took it home and read it cover to cover and scared the living cr*p out of myself! I cried all night because I could hear trains shunting and I thought it was werewolves coming to get me! Still don't like them.

lol emma!

I'm really interested in ghosts, but they also scare the poop out of me! So when i watched 6th Sense, i literally couldnt sleep for months  I had to drag Carl to the toilet with me in the middle of the night because i was so scared of seeing 'someone' walking down the hallway!!

I was also forced to watch Saw - i HATE those films, far too sick and twisted and gorey, i nearly passed out :eeeeek:

Dr Who is about the scariest thing I want to see (there was a good werewolf in that!) although I'm quite interested in real life murders

Ghostie ones do it for me too, The Exorcist was pretty freaky, mainly because it was based on a true story!! Eeeek!

Nightmare on Elm Street scared the cr*p out of me when I was a kid!! I think it's funny now tho!!

I can reassure you Jeni, as I am quite psychic, you very rarely see ghosts... you may feel a cold air around you when they draw in close, but seeing them is an altogether different scenario... very very rare... so relax

Oh Tina, I never knew you were psychic! Tell me more please! Very, very interested! :)

it's not something that I embrace like many do, but I am aware of spirit in that I can see, hear & feel them.. it's not fun for me anyhow, I hate it... but nevertheless, it is there, what it all means I have no idea...

I did do mediumship in spirtualist churches for a while, but I have nothing at all to do with it now, my sister is also aware, and she does healing work, once a weak, which is an admirable thing to do, but I would rather not do anything at the moment.

wow tina, i'm totally gobsmacked - and very intrigued! although you saw it isnt something you would like to embrace - has it ever been explained to you why exactly you and your sister can sense them?

I have to say i think the fil deliverance did it for me..
or "wrong turn" which is the teen equivalent of that film.. it just scares me so much that people like that exist and they DO... lol

i can never watch a horror film without legging it full pelt to the toilet whacking all the lights on as i pass.... i literally hurl myself back into bed and insist stu turns the lights ut.. and i jump something wrotten.. it's hilarious in the cinema.. i usually have people in stiches just cos they can see me fly out of the chair lol

..

Yup defo deliverance:ohreally:

no, never, I don't think anyone can explain it... you either are or your not.

It's strange, because I would have a hard time and would be a doubter as to wherther it was real or not if I was not aware.. I know it's real, though I can't prove it and I can't explain it, but I am surrounded by spirit, as we all are, but I can tell you you have nothing to fear... I am blessed in that the very 1st instance of becoming aware, in my mid 30's I saw an Angel, so that is comforting and a wonderful experience.. he was beautiful and looked like he was composed of a spiders web that is covered in early morning dew... though I did poke my head back under the bedspreads

I can imagine Tina that it's very hard being aware. I would be quite frightened I think, although I know deep down there's nothing to fear. I've never seen anything myself, as you said I think you either can or you can't, but I do sense things a lot and I am aware of presences at times. I've had very subtle things happen to me which are very comforting to me but as you say, it's very hard to explain it and what it's all about etc.

I've just bought some books from Amazon written by pyschic's. 2 books by Gordon Smith (seen him on the tv a few times, he is amazing) and another guy called Tony Stockwell who does readings for the police. I'm absolutely intrueged by these things.

I've done a course with Tony Stockwell, he used to work with Colin Fry a lot.

He has many wannabe's hanging on to his everyword, he is welcome to his talent, I wish I could give it away to those who pretend they are psychic.. anyone wants it, they can have it

I saw a 'snuff' film a few years ago now.... i think that's what they are calle and it scared the living sh1t out of me! Would never watch another one!

When i was small (6 or 7) i stayed up to watch IT by Stephen King....... it has been the most scariest film to me ever! I was looking for it for years and years but was told that it had been taken off as it was far too scary! Well guess what came back out on dvd this year???? IT!!!!

I bought it and it is still by my dvd player.... in the wrapper! I will one day pluck up enough courage to watch it again! It's probably nothing now-a-days! Just some kids then get pulled down the plug hole by some clown! :eeeeek: *shudders*
