saw his film on bbc2 last night - shocked at some of the things but we watched it and it was informative if upsetting - he tackled a sensitive subject very well and part two is same time next wed night - I expected a comedy sketch but it was a diff to do documentary and mustve been hard for some people to take part in?

I like stephen fry, he is a human being that demonstrates a lot of integrity
I think he is amazing . He is so incredibly well read and is very honest and brave about very difficult subjects. You don't have to agree with all his opinions but he is always informative, witty and interesting.

I can't find anything not to like about Stephen Fry, I've loved him for years - and now he seems to be turning into the Country's favourite brother/uncle, whose shoulder you can cry on.
Lets sling out ALL the political parties and let him care for the Nation instead :)

No I doubt it would of been. I hope hes a reformed man now because as a teenager he was a dreadful person and my brother and his friends were on the recieving end of it.If he reformed now im pleased, but its difficult to like someone when you know what went on before.

Oh Rebecca thats very sad :(
I have to say i do really like him, i saw the programme all about his depression and i was really moved by it. Depression is something very close to my heart and i thought he was amazing to let people film him about something so hard and personal.
He walked past me and my partner in a car park last year, Carl screamed out "Steeeeeeeeeeeeephen! Hiiiiiiiiiii!" and he was so polite, did a little wave and a nod and carried on  - Carl still goes on about this now, he's so proud lol!!
I've just read his auto biography, and to be fair he is completely honest about being an absolute nightmare when he was younger. He plays a lot of things that happened to him down, but I really can't see how some of them wouldn't have had an effect on his behaviour.
His intelligence is a bit overwhelming but he still looks for humour and the positive. :)
