Mine is The Patriot I was flicking through the channels last night and found it and just had to watch it again.

Moronic, pompous, vile Brits easily outflanked by a Chimpanzee (Lord ... Mel Gibson really does look like a chimp) leading noble, good, wholesome and very very intelligent American folk (who are truly lovely and decent to Black folk ) in their fight for independance ..... DOES this film wind me up or what?

Roy said it was good for me because I got to shout rude things and hurl cushions at the TV, so it cheered me up

I was really ready for the scene when the evil Brits set fire to the church with all the humble utterly wonderful Americans in it "Burnt it! Burn it!!! Burn it!!!!"

IT just really winds me up the way Mel Gibson takes a little truth and mangles it up with a lot of lies and rubbish and sells it to the unsuspecting public.... The Patriot is just like Braveheart but worse. Rant over :letitall:

How can anyone hate 'The Patriot' when it has luscious Jason Isaacs in it?
Mind you, I agree that Gibson looks like a chimp! ;)

PS: I hate loathe and despise 'The Sound of Music' - I didn't mind it at one time, then I was in it (in an amateur production) which ran for 10 whole days - it's left such a deep psychological scar, I start to twitch and foam at the mouth if I hear even a bar of the opening song! O.O

Jason Isaacs is the only decent thing in The Patriot (gosh he's got some wonderful eyes - phew!) although they did forget to give him a twirly moustache to make him a proper pantomine villian

Heath Ledger was just a mere boy .... and I don't honestly believe anyone could ever like rotten little Mel Gibbon.

Anna - I think you were really thinking of the angel when you named Gabriel, for his angelic ways
