Um...I'm a busy mum of four ( 10,8,6,4 ) living in the Midlands.
I'm also a Portrait Artist so I get to work from home a lot which is great and fits around the kids.

I am currently catless:catsad:

My last cat Sadie ( seal tortie bali ) passed away in January with liver failure
aged 15yrs. She has been missed a great deal. The house has been very quiet without her.

Our new family member is a choc. point siamese girl who will be joining us
at the end of August.

I am looking forward to the new arrival. I always seem to get more work done when I have catty company in the house.

Looking forward to getting to know you all

Cleo

Well DH works away during the week so once the kids are out or asleep I am alone with my sketchbook.
Sadie was quiet company in the last few years...just happy to sit and watch me draw...

Having a kitten in the house again will be a different experience I'm sure....
I will prob find all sorts of things being chewed:catevilish:

Can't wait.

Hello Cleo and welcome to HB! You sound like you've got your hands full there!! I'm catless at the moment too. I've had mogs since I was 3 right through till I was 22 (my tom lived to the ripe old age of 19 and his sister lived till 17 1/2). We also had a tortie mog that adopted us but I don't know how old she was when she went. Since then I haven't had any cats as I was heart broken when Korky died at 19 years, he was my soul mate since I was three and to loose him really hit me hard. Six years on and I'm ready to get a couple more kitties as my life is empty without them. Myself and my hubby are going to embark on a couple of meezers so that'll be our house destroyed!! Lol!!

August seems to be the best time to look at getting a new kitten! :D Or at least is popular!

Welcome, Cleo, it's good to meet new friends! And an Artist, no less?! :catartistic:
