This is from The Times 6th October 1967. I can't quite believe how popular Siamese were then - I guess it might be something to do with Blue Peter's Jason. I wonder what proportion of cats registered today are Siamese?
Anyway, that is one beautiful tabby point :D

Very interesting. Pity it didnt give the names, I tried to trace Truly's ancestors as far as I could. Went quite a way back.

Yes! but I did a search on the web a couple of years ago under ramesescats & I just checked to see if this was still working as I have had this link for sometime & so I went back to double check it.

I'll have to see if I can get Margaret, from the club, to join the board, I don't think she's a member. I was lucky when I did my website, Norma Farnsworth the judge, lent me a lot of the old photo's, her prefix is Saturn.

We had a Siamese seal point called Jason who was born in 1967 strangely enough, think my Parents lacked originality! He had a superb temperament, I used to dress him up in baby clothes and put him in my dolls pram. He lived til he was 15. Will try and dig out some photos and scan them in.:catrub:

Just had a little look and check, Audrey - Margaret is the lady I got Lola from! :flower:

She's really nice, and usually to be found on their stall at the shows.

She is nice, but seemed to be a very, very busy lady (like all you breeders, I bet)
I'm really hoping to go to the Durham show this year, and (hopefully) the Yorkshire one too - so maybe I'll see her! :toothy4:

Going back to Jason of Blue Peter fame I have a program Called "Tracer" for searching Pedigree's his name was "Plainsong Jason" I found this facinating in looking at old pedigree's of Siamese cats & orientals I have also added quite a few cats on it too.

Laughing ... of course I'll be nice, Carole ... I mean, it isn't as if the poor woman gave birth to the fell Lola herself ... anyway, I'm used to the little horror now and she has becomea bit of a celebrity due to her atrocious behaviour - see the 'Phew .. I'm glad that's over .." thread! ;)
