Its amazing the difference, my first Siamese recollection must be Jason from Blue Peter, apart from the old lady by my mum who had one

http://www.blackandtansiamese.com/historic.htmThe very first Siamese that I ever had was very like the one in Blue Peter and we called him Jason, my dad came home with him one day and mum went nuts, but fell in love with him within minutes. He was a real character, he used to bring babby rabbits to the back door, or leave them in our neighbours garden shed.:catembaressed:

When I first did my web I had lots of pics of Siams from 1914, now I have them as a link on my website, it's called Siamese Past and Present, one of the judges Norma Farnsworth lent me lots of photo's for it, her prefix is Saturn, she's bred some super seal points.

That Black and Tan site is just amazing, incredible - I loved it !

Their kitten diary is incredible. I have never ever seen such stunningly cute photos - so gorgeous it made me cry  :)

Do you think looking at those photos that American Siamese always tended to be cobbier that British ones right back into the 1930s? I think they did.

I love the photo of Carole Lombard - she was (as far as I can see) the first person to have the daft name Carole (though she wasn't born with it) so I've always blaned her for my stupid name .... as I now know she had a Siamese I feel differently about her :D :D :D

Jason ..... ah! If I could get downsize the photo I've got of him enough I'd have it as my avatar. He was an absolute star, I'm so pleased I actually saw him in the fur.

What a fabulous site - so glad you found it!

I wonder if the cat with Kim Novak is 'Pyewacket' from the (very) old film, 'Bell, Book and Candle'? I watched the film on tv with my Nana when I was a very little girl and have been Siamese-crazy since the moment I saw him!:catwub:
